Operational test of assembled parts

FOR SYSTEM CONNECTOR CONNECTION HELPFULLY USE A CABLE WITH OPEN ENDS. SEE REF. TABLE
1002 AND FIG. 1003.
NOTE:
REFER TO FIG. 2001.
ACTION RESULT
(1) Set the multimeter (3, Table 1001) to
the conductivity mode.
(2) Connect each Cable to the multimeter
and do a check of its conductivity from
the connector to the system connector.
ACTION RESULT
(1) Set the sine wave generator (2, Table
1001) to 1 kHz at 70 mV
RMS
for passive
mode and 35 mV
RMS
for active mode.
(2) Connect the sine wave generator and
power supply for NoiseGard powering
to the related pins of the PCB system
connector socket (Ref. Fig. 2001).
(3) Set the switch of the sine wave
generator to "ON".
You can hear the 1 kHz signal tone of the sine
wave generator at the left or right capsule.
(4) Set the switch of the sine wave
generator to "OFF".
(5) Disconnect the sine wave generator.
