  If the hand control LED on your Serta Indoor Furnishing doesn't light up or seems to work but won't activate the bed, check these things: * Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into a working, grounded outlet. Using a grounded surge protector is recommended. You can test the outlet by plugging in another appliance. * Confirm that the hand control wire is securely connected to the hand control port on the control unit, which is located on the bottom of the bed or Y-Cable.

  If the head section of your Serta Pivot Foundation isn't activating, here are a few things to try: * First, unplug the power cord, wait about 45 seconds, and then plug it back in. This can reset the electronic components. * Check your electrical service breaker box to make sure a circuit hasn't tripped. * Test the outlet by plugging in another working appliance to ensure the outlet or surge protector isn't defective. * If your bed has been paired, double-check that all cables are properly connected, paying special attention to the Y-Cable line that plugs into the bed's control port.
