8 Storage and disposal
If you would like to store the appliance, return it for repairs or dispose of it,
you rst have to empty it.
8.1 Emptying the appliance
1. Press and hold the on/off button and button for 5 seconds.
 The LED
ashes.
2. Remove the water tank.
TIP
To cancel the emptying process, press the on/off
button
3. The LED is lit continuously. The appliance is emptied and then
switches off.
4. Unplug the power plug from the socket.
TIP
Placing appliance back into operation after empty-
ing:
– Fill the water tank.
– Place a cup under the outlet.
– Hold down button
until water ows from
the outlet.
8.2 Storing the appliance
1. Clean the appliance, ►“Cleaning the appliance” on page 13.
2. Empty the appliance, ►“Emptying the appliance” on page 18.
3. Store the appliance in a dry place.
