Before measuring resistance,disconnect connectors as shown above. 
 
[4] GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING CHART 
1. Indoor unit does not turn on 
 
2. Indoor unit fan does not operate 
3. Indoor unit fan speed does not change 
Main cause  Inspection method  Normal value/condition  Remedy 
Cracked PCB. 
(Cracked pattern) 
Check visually.  There should be no cracking in 
PCB or pattern. 
Replace PCB. 
Open-circuit in FU1 (250 V, 3.15A).  Check melting of FU1.  There should be no open-circuit.  Replace PCB.

Replace thermistor.
Open-circuit in heat exchanger ther- 
mistor (TH2)   
Measure thermistor resistance 
(dismount for check). 
There should be no open-circuit

mistor (TH2) 
Inspect connector on PCB.Check 
thermistor installation con-dition. 
Thermistor should not be 
disconnected. 
Install correctly.
