What to do if Sharp Copier is unable to scan?
    • P
      Pamela FletcherAug 25, 2025
If your Sharp Copier is unable to scan, try shutting down your computer, turning off the machine's power switch, and unplugging the machine's power cord. Then, restart your computer, restore power to the copier, and try scanning again. If your application is not TWAIN/WIA compliant, scanning will not be possible. Also, scanning a large area in full color at high resolution results in a large amount of data and extended scanning times.

What to do if error indicator is blinking on Sharp AR-M150 All in One Printer?
    • P
      Paula WatsonAug 26, 2025
If the error indicator on your Sharp All in One Printer is blinking, it could be due to several reasons. A paper misfeed might have occurred, so clear any paper jams. The cover or the SPF/RSPF cover might be open, so ensure they are closed. The toner cartridge could be empty, requiring a replacement. If [L1-00] appears, turn off the power, release the scan head locking switch, and turn the power back on. If none of these apply, try turning the power off, waiting 10 seconds, and turning it back on. If the error persists, contact an authorized service representative.

    • D
      David NewmanAug 27, 2025
If the Sharp All in One Printer is displaying 'CHECK SPF/RSPF. START TO RESUME,' it may be because an original document remains on the document glass or the original is too thick to scan. Remove the original. If there is no original on the document glass, the underside of the SPF/RSPF may be dirty; clean it.

    • M
      Marvin BarrettDec 1, 2025
To improve the scanning quality on your Sharp Copier, regularly clean the document glass and the underside of the SPF/RSPF. Always use a clean original document. Also, ensure that the resolution setting in the scanner driver is appropriate for the original you are scanning. If you are scanning with a TWAIN-compliant application and are using 'Red', 'Green' or 'Blue' mode from 'Light Source' menu, make sure that a suitable value is specified for the 'B/W Threshold' setting. If the image has unsuitable brightness or contrast, click the 'Auto Brightness/Contrast Adjustment' button on the 'Color' tab of the 'Custom Settings' screen. Make sure the original is placed face up in the SPF/RSPF or face down on the document glass, and that it is placed in the correct position. Avoid using 'Quick Scan...

Why is the print image light and uneven on my Sharp Copier?
    • A

A light and uneven printed image on your Sharp Copier can be due to the paper being loaded incorrectly. Some paper types have a designated front and back side. If the paper is loaded with the back side facing up for printing, the toner may not adhere properly, resulting in a poor image.
