AR-M550 / AR-M620 / AR-M700 Coin Vend Interface
The coin vend interface for the AR-M550, AR-M620 and AR-M700 machines is located on the
Scanner Control PWB.
Before connecting a third party auditor, the device should conform to the following
specifications:-
1. The auditor interface should be optically isolated from the copier.
2. The external auditor interface should be ‘Power Supply Unit’ independent.
3. The external auditing device’s Power Supply Unit should be a plug-top adapter, not
an internal supply.
4. The external auditing device’s plug-top adapter should have a reinforced insulation
barrier.
5. The external auditing device must ‘hold’ a CE mark.
To enable coin vend function, test command 26-03 and select Vendor Control (set value 2), the
LCD display should now display the message ‘Under Vendor Control’ when the copier is re-
started. The message will clear and copying will be possible only when the external auditing
device completes the interface’s enable loop.
