Input the 4-digit password by using 0–9,
then press ENTER.
The LOCKS menu displays.
Press ϵ/϶ to select
(LOCKS).
Press ϳ/ϴ. The password entering menu
displays.
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “TV RATING”. Then
press ϵ/϶ to select the desired rating.
• When you select TV-Y7, TV-PG, TV-14 or
TV-MA, “DISPLAY TO SET CONTENTS”
will appear on the screen. Press DISPLAY
to explain the rating. Press ϳ/ϴ to select
the desired rating you want. Press ϵ/϶ to
select the setting “ON” or “OFF”. Then press
RETURN.

(MPAA)
Repeat steps 1 to 5 in TV Parental
Guidelines (TV Guidelines).
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “MOVIE RATING”.
Then press ϵ/϶. The RATING SET menu
displays.
Press ϳ/ϴ to select desired setting, then
press ϵ/϶ to select the settings “ON” or
“OFF”.

Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “V-CHIP SET”, then
press ϵ/϶. The V-CHIP SET menu displays.
Press RETURN. The LOCKS menu
displays.
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “V-CHIP”, then press
ϵ/϶ to select “ON”.
Your setting are now set into memory.
• If “V-CHIP” is not set to “ON”, the V-CHIP
setting will not work.
