LHPS:for adjustment.

After replacementof an IC3 (RAM) withinthe main PWB.
@ Place the scale over the originaltable as shownbelow.
@ Make a copy on the A4 or 8-1= x 11”paper.
@“Compare the scale image on the copy paper withthe lengthof
the scale.

(11) Copy leadedge adjustment
COPYlead edge adjustment is r~uired for any of the following
reasons:
Afterreplacementor relocationofthe mirrorhomepositionsensor
(MHPS).
. Afler replacementor retocstiorr.ofthe mirrorb&e.
After replacementof the.PS rolteror PS clutch.
. After replacementof the main PWB,
After replacementof an IC (RAM, IC3) withinthe main PWB.
When the troubtestatus U2 is disptayed.
After rapl~~nt or relocationof optical componentssuch as
lens, mirror,mirrorbase.
In the norrnd mode, image lossshouldbe Oto 3.Ommand the voti
area Oto 3mm.
Copy lead edge, image loss, and void area adjustmentsare done
withtest command50 and 58. ~ PSS activationtimingisadjusted
by test command 50 in order for the image on the o,riginatto be
copiedon the given area of the copy paper.

(MHPS) after the mirror base has started to move, the time and
pulses are countedwithinthe CPU. ~ PSS is adve when the
