Alternatively, the volume might be set to the minimum or the MUTE function is on. Try increasing the volume to resolve the issue.

Why doesn't Pict in Pict work on my Sharp XG-C55X Projector?
    • K
      kbaileySep 6, 2025
If the Pict in Pict function does not work on your Sharp Projector, it might be because the signal in INPUT 1 or 2 is set to a resolution that exceeds SXGA. Lower the resolution. It could also be that the signal in INPUT 1 or 2 is sending Component signals 480I, 480P, 540P, 580I, 580P, 720P, 1035I or 1080I. Change to a supported signal type. Finally, the signal in INPUT 1 or 2 might be set to interlace mode using RGB signals, so change to a different signal mode.

Why is there an unusual sound coming from my Sharp XG-C55X Projector?
    • M
      michael94Sep 9, 2025
If you occasionally hear an unusual sound from the cabinet of your Sharp Projector, and the picture is normal, the sound is likely due to cabinet shrinkage caused by room temperature changes. This will not affect operation or performance, so no action is necessary.
