Tape Recording
Recording from the radio
When beat is heard
Beat (a high-pitched noise) may sometimes be heard during the re-
cording of radio broadcasts. If this occurs, set the BEAT CANCEL
switch (the rear of the unit) to 1 or 2 position to reduce the level of
the beat noise.
Note:
If you hear a whistling noise whilst recording on AM station, move the
AM loop aerial.
Erasing recorded tapes
1 Tune in to the desired station. (See page 26)
2 Load a blank cassette.
3 Press the RECORD button to start recording.
4 Press the STOP/EJECT / button to stop recording.
1 Load the tape to be erased into the cassette compartment
with the side to be erased facing towards you.
2 Press the TAPE button until "TAPE" appears on the dis-
play. When operating with the remote control, press the
TAPE button.
3 Press the RECORD button, which also engages the PLAY
button to begin erasing.
