1. Once the chamber temperature has stabilized, compare the reference
temperature device and incubator display readings.
a. If the readings are the same, or if a difference between the
two falls within the acceptable range of your protocol, the
display is accurately showing the chamber air temperature.
The Temperature Verification procedure is now
complete.
b. See step 2 if a difference falls outside the acceptable range
of your protocol.
2. If there is an unacceptable difference, a display temperature
calibration must be performed to match the display to the reference
device.
