1.
POWER
SWITCH
Press
this
switch
to
turn
the
power
on.
Press
again
to
turn
the
power
off.
It
can
also
be
used
as
the
system
power
switch.
If
no
sound
comes
from
either
channel
after
the
power
is
turned
on,
check
whether
AC
power
cord
is
accidentally
disconnected,
SPEAKER
switches
are
incorrectly
positioned,
TAPE
button
is
set
to
MONITOR
position.
2.
SLEEP
SWITCH
Activates
the
SLEEP
timer.
The
length
changes
in
the
following
manner
each time
the
key
is
pressed.

SPEAKER
SELECTOR
SWITCH:
A
AND
B
This
switch
allows
you
to
select
various
combinations
of
speakers
as
follows;
a.
To
activate
“A”
speakers
only
connected
to
“A”
speakers
terminal
on
the
rear
panel,
push
“A”
switch
in
only.
b.
To
activate
“B”
speakers
only
connected
to
“B”
speakers
terminal
on
the
rear
panel,
push
“B”
switch
in
only.
c.
To
activate
both
“A”
and
“B”
speakers,
push
“A”
and
“B”
switches
in.
d.
To
activate
Headphones
only
for
private
listening
or
monitoring,
push
both
“A”
and
“B”
switches
off.
4.
HEADPHONE
JACK
Stereo
headphones
can
be
plugged
into
this
jack
for
private
listening,
set
the
SPEAKER
selector
switches
to
OFF.
Headphone
impedence
should
be
between
8
and
2,000
ohms.
Best
results
between
200
and
400
ohms.
5.
BASS
CONTROL
Modifies
the
low
frequency
sound
of
left
and
right
channels
as
much
as
+10dB.
Set
this
control
at
a
suitable
position
for
your
taste
and
room
acoustics.
6.
TREBLE
CONTROL
Modifies
the
high
frequency
sound
of
left
and
right
channels
as
much
as
+10dB.
Set
this
control
at
a
suitable
position
for
your
taste
and
room
acoustics.
7.
SURROUND
SWITCH
Set
this
switch
to
the
on
position
to
add
an
extra
feeling
of
width
and
depth
to
stereo
sound.
8.
BALANCE
CONTROL
For
balancing
the
relative
sound
volume
of
the
left
and
right
channel
speakers.
Clockwise
rotation
reduces
the
volume
from
the
left
speakers,
counterclockwise
rotation
reduces
the
volume
from
the
right
speaker.
