SCAN
BUTTON
Button
for
scanning
of
preset
stations.
e
Press
this
button
to
engage
the
preset
scan
function.
Reception
shifts
to
the
next
preset
station
frequencies
in
a
numerical
order
of
preset
station
until
it
returns
to
the
frequency
which
had
been
received
just
before
you
pressed
the
button.
Selected
station
is
heard
for
a
few
seconds
before
shifting
to
next
station.
e
Press
this
button
again
to
stop
scanning.

MEMORY
BUTTON
This
button
works
in
conjunction
with
AM/FM
station
preset
buttons
to
store
preset
station
frequencies
in
memory.
When
this
button
is
pressed,
the
MEMORY
indicator
flashes
and
the
unit
stands
by
for
a
preset
#
to
be
pushed.

FM
MODE
BUTTON
Determines
the
manner
in
which
a
received
station
will
be
reproduced
by
the
tuner.

Provides
automatic
stereophonic
reception
of
any
FM
Stereo
Broadcast.

MONO
(switch
pressed,
MONO
indicator
turn
on);
The
left
and
right
channel
signals
detected
from
an
FM
Stereo
Broadcast
are
mixed
and
reproduced
through
both
channels.
Noise
level
of
weak
FM
Stereo
stations
can
be
greatly
improved
by
switching
tuner
to
mono.

TUNING
MODE
SWITCH

MANUAL)
Determines
tuning
mode;
AUTO
(AUTO
indicator
ON);
Touch
UP/DOWN
button
automatic
tuning
is
assured
until
first
station
is
detected.

MANUAL
(AUTO
indicator
OFF);
Tuning
is
done
only
if
tuning
UP/DOWN
button
is
kept
pressed.
14.
INFRARED
REMOTE
RECEIVER
This
consists
of
an
infrared
filtering
window
and
an
infrared
remote
receiver.
This
receiver
receives
the
pulse
code
modulated
(PCM)
infrared
signals
transmitted
by
the
commander
and
converts
it
into
the
electrical
signal
to
control
the
system.
The
infrared
filtering
window
effectively
filters
out
interfering
lights
to
prevent
the
receiver
from
responding
to
the
unwanted
noise
and
light.
Do
not
obstruct
this
window
with
any
material.
15.
FM/AM
BAND
SELECTOR
For
selecting
desired
band
in
either
FM
or
AM.
16.
STATION
PRESET
BUTTONS
When
these
buttons
are
pressed,
the
stations
stored
in
memory
will
be
recalled.
Press
button
‘3’
or
‘2’
and
‘9’
in
sequence
for
preset
number
‘3’
or
‘29’.
In
case
of
‘1’,
‘2’
buttons
release
each
button
after
more
than
2
seconds.
