SELECTOR
BUTTONS
These
are
the
switches
for
selecting
desired
program
sources.
The
applicable
buttons
are
PHONO,
TUNER,
CD,
VIDEO
and
TAPE
MONITOR.
7.
AMPLIFIER
CONTROL
BUTTONS
The
applicable
buttons
are
VOLUME
UP/DOWN,
and
MUTE.
When
the
MUTE
button
is
pressed,
the
volume
indicator
on
the
volume
control
of
the
front
panel
will
flicker
and
the
sound
level
will
be
reduced
by
—oodB.
This
is
very
useful
when
you
make
or
receive
phone
call
while
operating
the
receiver
at
high
listening
level.
To
release
muting,
press
button
MUTE
again.
8.
DRY
BATTERY
CASE
This
battery
case
is
provided
as
the
power
source
for
the
commander.
To
remove
the
cover,
press
it
down
with
the
thumb
and
pull
it
toward
the
back
side.
Tow
UM-3,
size
“AA”
or
R6
1.5V
dry
batteries
are
used.
When
loading
the
batteries,
make
sure
that
the
polarity
is
correct.
Remove
the
batteries
from
the
case
if
the
remote
commander
will
not
be
in
use
for
an
extended
period
of
time.
