  If your Shimano Steps Battery Charger is not charging, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the power plug of the battery charger is securely connected. Remove and reconnect it, and then try charging again. * Ensure the charging plug of the battery charger is securely inserted into the battery. Remove and reconnect it, and then try charging again. * Verify that the charging adapter and charging plug, or the charging adapter and battery charging port, are securely connected. * Check the connection terminals of the battery charger, charging adapter, or battery for dirt. If they are dirty, clean them with a clean rag or cotton bud dampened with ethanol, and then try charging again.

  If the temperature is higher than the temperature at which discharging is possible, leave the Shimano Steps battery in a cool location with no direct sunlight until the internal temperature of the battery has decreased sufficiently. If the temperature is lower than the temperature at which discharging is possible, leave the battery indoors until the internal temperature has increased to an appropriate temperature.

  If the LED on your Shimano Steps Battery Charger doesn't light up, check the following: * Ensure the charging plug is securely inserted into the battery.
