Menu Operation
Each tube-heating mode is optimized for a type of protection sleeve. These
modes can be found in database area for reference. Copy the appropriate one and
paste it to the user-programmable area. The operator can edit the
user-programmable modes.
A. Select Heater Mode
In 1.“Splice Mode Menu”, press button to select “Select
Heater Mode”, press button to enter as shown below:
Select the heater mode most suitable for the protection sleeve to be used.
Press or button to select a heater mode, press button to confirm.
B. Edit Heater Mode
Tube-heating conditions stored in heater mode can be edited or changed.
Editable parameters include: Heat Time, Heat Temp (heating temperature) and
etc. Heat Time will automatically adjust according to atmospheric conditions e.g:
