5. COMMISSIONING, OPERATION
5.3 Mechanical mounting
The maximum torque depends on the mounting location (e.g. material and shape). If you have
any questions, please consult our application advisor.

1. Seal sealing surface (→ see “Sealing variants”).
2. Tighten the pressure switch in the mounting location by hand.
3. Tighten via spanner at using torque wrench.
Sealing variants
Cylindrical thread
Seal sealing surface 1 with at seal,
sealing lens or prole seal.
according to EN 837
according to DIN 3852-E


Conical thread
Wrap sealing material around thread
(e.g. PTFE band).
NPT, R and PT

The pressure switch must be supplied by an energy-limited circuit as per 9.4 of the UL/EN/
IEC 61010-1 or LPS as per UL/EN/IEC 60950-1 / CSA C22.2 No.60950-1 or class 2 as per
UL1310 / UL1585 (NEC or CEC).
