6.5 Writing Parameter Sets to the SD Card
NOTE
To prepare the parameter sets, the PGT-10-Pro must be connected to a suitable
encoder. An SD card is not included with delivery. Please note that the SD card used
must be formatted in the FAT32 system.
Preparation
CAUTION
Only use an adapter cable that is suitable for the encoder (see “Accessories”).
The programming tool must only be used with the designated adapter cables. Other
adapter cables are not permitted.
Otherwise, this could result in damage to the programming tool and/or the encoder.
•
Connect an encoder of the type to be programmed to the PGT-10-Pro (see “Con‐
necting to the Encoder”).
•
Apply all the desired settings for the parameter values.
•
Save the previously set parameter values in the PGT-10-Pro using the Save Config‐
uration to SD-Card function.
•
The saved parameter values can be checked using the Read Configurations from
SD-Card function.
•
Disconnect the encoder from the adapter cable.
•
Remove the SD card.
The parameter values are saved on the SD card and can be used with both the
PGT-10-Pro and PGT-08-S.
