Disassembly
1. The external fan ① is fixed on the shaft with a retaining ring ②. Remove the retaining ring.
Pliers according to DIN 5254 should preferably be used for this purpose.
2. Pull off the external fan by hand.

Assembly
1. Push the external fan ① up to the end stop on the shaft extension.
2. Insert the retaining ring ② into the corresponding groove and check its fit.

The internal fan is located on the rotor inside the machine. If the internal fan is defective or
must be replaced, please contact the Service Center (Page 149).
