LOGO! operating modes
LOGO! has 2 operating modes: STOP and RUN
STOP RUN
Display: ’No Program’
(not LOGO! ...RCo)
Switch LOGO! to program-
ming mode
The LED lights up red

Display: Mask for monitor-
ing the inputs and outputs
(after START in the main
menu)
(not LOGO! ...RCo)
Switch LOGO! to parame-
terization mode
(not LOGO! ...RCo)
The LED lights up green
(LOGO! ...RCo only)
Action by LOGO!:
The inputs are not read.
The program is not exe-
cuted.
The relay contacts are al-
ways open or the transistor
outputs are switched off.
Action by LOGO!:
LOGO! reads the state of
the inputs.
LOGO! calculates the state
of the outputs with the pro-
gram.
LOGO! switches the relays/
transistor outputs on or off.
