Ringopen ● Check the MRP ring. There is a break in the ring at one or more of the panels.
● Check whether cable is defective.
● Ring port LEDs which are switched off show open ports
– Defective/unplugged cable.
Doublemanager ● Adapt configuration. Only one Ethernet switch is allowed to be configured as the ring
manager.
Unidirectional Data
Link Fault
● Check the cabling of all optical fiber sections
● Replace each Ethernet switch in turn until you identify the defective device.
