Directory
Transferring an entry/directory to another handset.
u The sending and receiving handsets must both be registered to the same base.
u The other handset and the base can send and receive directory entries.
Transferring individual entries
¤ Open the detail view for the entry. ¤ Touch [ = Copy].
¤ Answer the prompt with Internal Handset. Select the recipient handset.
Transferring the entire directory
¤ Open directory. ¤ Touch [ : Copy List].
¤Answer the prompt with Internal Handset. ¤Select the recipient handset.
Adding a displayed number to the directory
¤ Touch [ ¬ Copy Number]. You have the following options:
- Create new entry (
£ page 27): ¤Touch [ d New Entry]. The number is copied as the
first number of the entry with number type Home.
- Add a number to an existing entry:
¤Open the detail view for the entry. ¤ Touch Add . Number is entered with number type
Home.
Or:
¤Select the number you want to overwrite. ¤ Touch Yes .
Configuring QuickDial/QuickDial shortcuts
You have two options:
u Create, for each number, a symbol on the configurable (own) page.
u Transfer a number to the QuickDial shortcuts.
Creating a QuickDial icon on the configurable page
¤ Open the configurable page and start the configuration (press and hold the display).
¤Drag icon 3 from the selection bar onto the page. ¤ Select a directory entry.
¤ Where an entry has several numbers, the detail view will open: select telephone number.
An icon for QuickDial is created on the configurable page. The number is not entered into the
QuickDial shortcuts.
Dial number:
¤Touch the QuickDial shortcut icon on the configurable page.
Delete QuickDial: ¤In configuration mode, drag the QuickDial icon to be deleted into the selec-
tion bar. The directory entry does not change.
Transferring the telephone number to the QuickDial shortcuts
The QuickDial shortcuts can contain a maxim of 7 entries.
¤ Switch to the dial page and touch [ ¥ QuickDial]. ¤Touch [d New Entry]. ¤ Select a
directory entry.
¤ Where an entry has several numbers: open the detail view and select tel-
ephone number.
Dial number:
¤Open the dial page and touch [ ¥ QuickDial]. ¤Select an entry. ¤Press c.
