Bluetooth devices
ECO DECT – Reducing transmission power (radiation)
On delivery, the device is set to maximum range. This guarantees optimised wireless manage-
ment. You can reduce the transmission power further as follows:
Shorten range (Eco Mode) – Reduces the transmission power by up to 80%
¤ Open the status page. ¤ Use the key next to Eco Mode to switch the function on/off.
Completely switch off the base wireless signals in idle status (Eco Mode+)
¤ Open the status page. ¤ Use the key next to Eco Mode+ to switch the function on/off (on =
wireless transmission switched off).
Bluetooth devices
Up to 5 data devices (PC, PDA, mobile phone) and one Bluetooth headset can be registered on
the handset. The distance to the Bluetooth device should not exceed 10 m.
¤ Open the status page. ¤Touch ò Bluetooth. The Bluetooth page (£ image) is displayed.
Finding and trusting Bluetooth devices
The search starts as soon as the Bluetooth page is
opened and Bluetooth has been activated.
¤ Touch ’ next to Devices found. ¤Select device.
¤ Touch [ ÿ Trust Device]. ¤ If necessary, enter
the PIN of the device.
¤Confirm with è.
Managing known (trusted) devices
¤ Touch ’ next to Known Devices.
You can:
u De-register (delete) devices: ¤ Touch [ ü Delete].
¤Touch ´ for each device to be de-registered.
¤Touch [ ü Delete]. ¤Confirm with Yes .
u Change the name of a device: ¤ Select device.
¤ Enter/change name. ¤ Confirm with è.
Rejecting/accepting an unregistered Bluetooth device
An unregistered Bluetooth device is trying to establish a connection (bonding).
u Reject: ¤Touch ‘ or press a.
u Accept: ¤Enter the PIN of the device. ¤ Confirm with è.
- Add device to the Known Devices list: Touch Ye s.
- Temporarily use device: Touch No.
Changing the Bluetooth name of the handset
¤ Touch ’ next to Own Device. ¤ Change name and confirm with è.
