The temperature dependence of HCl in a closed glass cell is not the same as the
temperature dependence of HCl in the duct. A correction factor that compensates for
this can be obtained from the temperature correction curve in the figure below.
Measure the room temperature and read the corresponding correction factor in the
graph. Read the measurement value on the LDS 6 and divide the value with the
correction factor.

Move the detector and the single mode connection to the next box. Read the value of
the cell and divide with the correction factor. Repeat this for all cells in the kit.
Check of other channels
Remove the multi-mode fibre of the channel you want to check and connect the
multi-mode fibre of the two-meter cable. Repeat the linearity check.
