Image resolution
It is possible to set the quality of the
image regardless of the preview im-
age resolution. The best possible res-
olution is 1280 x 960 pixels.
To take individual wallpaper images
you need to set Background as the im-
age resolution in the options.
The resolution may decrease
depending on the selected digital
zoom.
Record video
The video mode resolution is the
same as the preview image
resolution.

Start video recording.
A red dot appears in the top right of
the display while the video recording
is being made.

End video recording.
The video is saved with a name, the
date and the time in the Videos folder
(page 118) in My stuff.
Video resolution
It is possible to set the quality of the
image for a video regardless of the
preview image resolution.
The best possible resolution is
176 x 144 pixels.
Flash
If the flash is active, a symbol ap-
pears in the display. The flash is
charged constantly when activated.
This reduces the stand-by time.
Ø
This symbol flashes when
the flash is being charged.
For settings, see options menu. The
flash performance depends on the
outside temperature and the charge
status of the battery. If the tempera-
ture is low and the battery needs
charging the flash performance
deteriorates.
Additional information
A mirror is integrated in the back of the
phone to make it easier to take self-
portraits.
