Note
Grounding connector
The device has a grounding connector on the back of
the device (screw M4), see position ①
in the
drilling pattern (Page 29). Connect the grounding cable before you mount the device.
Refer to the information in the section
Mounting (Page 27).
Ethernet connector
Depending on the model, the connection of the SCALANCE W7x8 to Ethernet is either via
an RJ-45 interface or via an M12 interface.
