Tightening torque
The following tightening torques apply to the connectors:
•
with N-Connect connectors: 1.7 Nm
•
with SMA/R-SMA connectors: 1 Nm
R-SMA for degree of protection IP30
The variants of the SCALANCE W7x8 RJ-45 have antenna sockets of the type R-SMA:
● Variants with an IWLAN interface (W7x8-1) have 3 antenna sockets on the top of the
device.
● Variants with two IWLAN interfaces (W788-2) have 6 antenna sockets, 3 on the top and 3
on the underside of the device.
