transmission, autonegotiation cannot be used.
Transmission medium
Data transmission is over single-mode ber-optic cable (FO cable). The transceiver wavelength
is 1310 nm. The FO cables are compatible with single-mode FO cables with 1300 nm.
Single-mode ber-optic cables with a core diameter of 9 µm are used. The outer diameter of the
FOC is 125 µm.
