6.3 Power supply
The power supply is connected via a plug-in terminal block with three terminals on the underside
of the SCALANCE XB-000. The device is also connected to the functional grounding via this
terminal block. You can 󹪝nd additional information in the section Grounding (Page 51). The
power supply is non-󹪞oating.
Note
The device can be disconnected from the power supply by removing the terminal block.
Note
The devices correspond to overvoltage category I.
6.3.1 Power supply 24 VAC
You can operate the following devices as of a certain hardware version or with a certain article
number (Page 57) with a 24 V AC power supply:
• XB004-1
• XB004-1LD
• XB005
• XB008 (6GK5 008-0BA10-1AB2)
