P1210 = 7
The VSD acknowledges the errors (F0003 or other) during startup after a mains failure or mains undervoltage and
initiates a motor restart. The ON command must be delivered via a digital input (DIN). The motor is immediately
restarted. P1211 defines the number of restart attempts. When the number of defined restart attempts are
reached, error relay P0731 is switched to 52.3, if parameterized. If no error is recorded within a period of 2 hours,
the error storage will be reset (deleted).
The ”Flying restart” function is to be used in cases where the motor is still running (e.g. after a mains failure of
short duration), or when driven by the load (P1200).
This means that setting P1210 = 7 is identical to setting P1210 = 6, except that with setting 7 parameter P1211 is
enabled.
The 2 following examples illustrate the behavior of the VSD when using setting P1210 = 7.
Example 1: P1210 = 7 and error occurring sporadically
Display of error
Restart (P1211 = max. 10)
1st attempt restarts successfully the SED2 since it
was only a sporadic error of short duration
Error relay P0731 (52.3)
remains open and does not change over
t
Sporadic error, e.g. F0002,
stopping the SED2
