You can achieve optimal results with respect to a high
-quality and durable electrical connection and maximum conductor
extraction forces at the sam
e time by using crimping dies preferably with smooth surfaces. Options include rectangular and
trapezoidal crimping cross
-sections.
Due to the large number of crimping dies used in the industry, we can recommend others on request.
Crimping dies with a
pronounced wave profile are not permitted in the product.
6 Maintenance and repair
The product is maintenance-free. Repairs to the product may only be carried out by the manufacturer.
Electromagnetic interference
There is no protection against electromagnetic interference when the control cabinet door is open. The following must be
observed when working inside the control cabinet:
• Turn off mobile phones, radio devices and other devices with strong electromagnetic fields.
The following must be observed when working in hazardous areas
For applications in potentially explosive atmospheres, you must observe the guidelines specified in DIN EN IEC 60079-17
when performing functional checks.
Devices in hazardous areas require special periodic inspection and testing:
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform maintenance and repairs.
• The specific procedure and prescribed methods must be followed.
Fail-safe systems require special periodic inspection and testing:
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform maintenance and repairs.
• The specific procedure and prescribed methods must be followed.
