The device has a button with the following functions:
• Reset the device to default settings
Please note that the button function distinguishes between the startup phase and running
operation.

• Load a 󹪝rmware 󹪝le via TFTP

• Setting the display mode
The display mode is used for diagnostics of the device. Depending on the set display mode,
the LEDs of the device show di󹪜erent information and indicate the state of the device.

4.8.2 Setting the display mode
To set the display mode, press the button as follows:
Pressing the button

- O󹪜 Display mode A
Press once On O󹪜 Display mode B
Press twice O󹪜 On Display mode C
Press three times On Display mode D
Depending on the set display mode, the "L1", "L2" LEDs and the port LEDs show di󹪜erent
information.
If you do not press the button for longer than 1 minute, the device automatically changes to
display mode A.
4.9 Con󹪝guration License PLUG
The Con󹪝guration and License PLUG (CLP) is a USB storage medium for backing up and
exchanging data and licenses.
The CLP has a USB type C interface and can be used with the following devices that have a
corresponding interface:
• Siemens products
• Personal computers (PCs), such as desktop PCs, tablet PCs, laptops, or smartphones
