4.1.5 Attaching/replacing the retaining strap
The SIMATIC RF160B is delivered with a retaining strap intended to guarantee a secure hold.
Procedure: Attaching the retaining strap
Follow these steps to attach the retaining strap to the mobile reader:
1. Turn or lay the reader on its front.
2. Push or pull the retaining strap upwards from the bottom through the upper retaining strap
hook.
