1.3 Operation
The EPROM eraser is ready for operation after connection to a mains
voltage that corresponds to the value on the rating plate of the device.
Insert the EPROM to be erased with its glass window face up into the
drawer before switching on the UV lamp. A minimum erasing time of
30 minutes must be set with the rotary knob.
The UV tube is switched on by winding up the clock spring. It is switched
off after the set time has expired. An optical indicator (blue light) placed
above the drawer is lit during operation of the UV tube.
