3.3.3 Replacing a DOM Flash Memory with a DOM Flash Memory
 Open the device as described in chapter 3.2.
 Pull the DOM flash memory carefully out of the plug connector (see Figure 3-16). Make sure
not to bend the connecting pins of the CPU board.

Insert the DOM flash memory into the plug connector observing the correct polarity and
the necessary ESD measures. The sticker with the order number must face to the front and
the DOM connector lug to the inside of the CPU board (see Figure 3-16).
 Reassemble the device in reverse order.
Caution
Make sure to install the DOM flash memory with the order number (MLFB) sticker visible (see
Figure 3-16) and the DOM connector lug on the back side.
Note
The DOM flash memory features a master-slave switch and possibly a write protection switch
whose settings you must not change.
Caution
Make sure that all components are correctly and fully inserted and that the locking levers are
safely engaged.
