Remove the shielding cover (4 screws) and swing it towards the battery pack connection
cable (see Figure 1-17).

Remove the positive line from the battery pack (see Figure 1-18).
 Remove the negative line from the battery pack (see Figure 1-18).

Caution
Danger of short-circuit if the connections of the battery pack touch each other.
