2.1 Definitions
1FT/1FK motors have type of construction IMB5. They can be mounted corre-
sponding to types of construction IM V1 or IM V3 without having to provide any
special information when ordering.
For types of construction IM B14, IM V18 and IM V19, threaded glands are pro-
vided in mounting holes.

When engineering motors with type of construction IM V3 and IM V19, please
observe the permissible axial forces (force due to the weight of the rotor) and
especially on the necessary degree of protection.
