All of the list data refer to an ambient temperature of 40 °C and assume that the
equipment is not mounted so that it is thermally insulated.
Non–ventilated (9. Position of the Order No.: A)
The power loss is dissipated by radiation and natural convection, which means
that the motor must be suitably mounted so that adequate heat dissipation is
guaranteed.
Higher surface temperatures can occur for the servomotors
(> 100 °C). When required, provide shock hazard protection.
Forced–ventilation (9. Position of the Order No.: S)
available for selected types (refer to Catalog)
S for 1FT5 for shaft heights 71, 100 and 132,
S for 1FT6 for shaft heights 80, 100 and 132
S forced ventilation is not provided for 1FK6 forced–ventilated motors
It is not permissible that the hot discharged air is drawn in again.
