① Radial shaft seal ring
The radial shaft seal ring shortens the usable shaft extension for 1FT2☐03 and 1FT2☐04.
Note
If degree of protection IP65 is selected, dry running of the radial shaft seal ring is permissible. If
degree of protection IP67 is selected, dry running of the shaft sealing ring can lead to increased
wear and premature leakage.
With degree of protection IP65, it is not permissible for liquid to collect in the ange.
• Make sure that the friction partners are wetted with a lubricant if degree of protection IP67
is selected.
