Description of the planetary gearbox
2.1 Correct and intended use
If you do not use/operate the motors correctly, there is a risk of death, severe injury and/or
material damage.
• Only use the planetary gearbox for its intended purpose
• Make sure that the conditions at the location of use comply with all the rating plate data.
• Make sure that the conditions at the location of use comply with the conditions specified
in this documentation. When necessary, take into account deviations regarding
approvals or country-specific regulations.
Planetary gearboxes are intended for industrial and commercial systems.
The planetary gearboxes are designed for operation in covered areas under normal climatic
conditions, such as those found on shop floors and indoor production environments.
More detailed information is provided in Chapter " (Page 19)".
Any other use of the planetary gearbox is considered to be incorrect use.
Carefully complying with all the specifications in these Operating Instructions as well as the
Operating Instructions and Configuration Manual of the mounted motor is a part of correct
and intended use.
Please observe the data on the rating plates of the motor and planetary gearbox.
