C.t.-operated releases (-Y4), (-Y5) 3AX1102-.., (-Y6) 3AX1104-..
The c.t.-operated releases (-Y4), (-Y5) or (-Y6) consist of an energy store, an un-
latching fixture and an electromagnetic system. If the tripping current is exceeded
(90 % of the c.t.-operated release's rated current), the stored energy mechanism is
unlatched, thus initiating opening of the vacuum circuit-breaker.
For use of the c.t.-operated releases, matching transformers are also needed for
matching, in addition to the main current transformers.
Power consumption for 0.5 A and 1 A ≤ 6 VA at ≤ 90 % of the c.t.-operated release's
rated current and with open armature.
