Connection of 3RU21 overload relay
Control circuit
An additional power supply is not required for the operation of 3RU21 thermal overload
relays.
The terminal labels and a description of the operator controls of the 3RU21 thermal overload
relays can be found in the chapter "3RU21 thermal overload relays (Page 23)".

Connection of 3RB20 / 3RB21 and 3RB30 / 3RB31 overload relays
Control circuit
The 3RB20 / 3RB21 and 3RB30 / 3RB31 electronic overload relays do not need an
additional supply voltage because they power themselves via the integrated current
transformers.

electronic overload relays (Page 32)".
