6.3.2 Configuring the 3RW5 soft starter in the Modbus RTU system
6.3.2.1 Configuring 3RW5 soft starters without help from a 3RW5 HMI
This section describes a possible configuration of the 3RW5 soft starter which you can only
carry out via the Modbus RTU client or the configuration software of the controller. You do
not need a 3RW5 HMI for this option.
Requirements
● Connection of the 3RW5 soft starter via Modbus RTU
● Switched on control supply voltage on the 3RW5 soft starter
● The station address currently stored in the 3RW5 Modbus RTU must be known.
You will find the factory setting (default) of the station address in chapter Station address
(Page 82).
