6.3.2.2 Configuring 3RW5 soft starters with the aid of a 3RW5 HMI
This section describes options for configuring the 3RW5 soft starter that requires
a 3RW5 HMI.
Requirements
● Input device (3RW5 HMI High Feature, PC)
From firmware version V2.0, the 3RW5 Modbus RTU communication module is
supported by the 3RW5 HMI High Feature.
● Switched on control supply voltage on the 3RW5 soft starter
Procedure
Programmable logic controller / Modbus RTU master, e.g. SIMATIC S7-1500
PC or programming device with configuration software of controller and Modbus RTU master
3RW5 HMI Standard (accessories depend on 3RW5 soft starter)
SIRIUS 3RW5 soft starter / slave
PC with SIRIUS Soft Starter ES (TIA Portal)
3RW5 HMI High Feature (accessories depend on 3RW5 soft starter)
