3.1 Disposal of the packaging
Set the maximum spin speed if the
laundry is to be dried in the tumble
dryer afterwards.
The packaging materials are
environmentally friendly and can be
reused.
▶ Dispose of the individual
components separately by type.
aDryer laundry shortens the pro-
gram length when drying and
reduces energy consumption. With
a higher spin speed, the residual
moisture in the laundry decreases
and the noise volume of the spin
increases.
3.2 Conserve energy and
resources
Wash laundry without prewash.
If you follow these instructions, your
appliance will use less electricity and
water.
aWashing with prewash extends
the program duration and increases
energy and water consumption.
Use programs with low temperatures
and longer washing times and use
the maximum load capacity.
The device has automatic load
balancing.
aThe automatic charge matching
ming optimally adjusts water
consumption and program duration
to the type of fabric and load
capacity.
aThe energy consumption and water
consumption are the most efficient.
Use economical program setting.
aWhen you set the program
settings for a programme, the
display shows the expected
consumption.
3.3 Energy Saving Mode
If you do not operate the device for a
longer period of time, it
automatically switches to energy
saving mode.
The energy-saving mode is exited
when you operate the device again.
Dose detergent according to the
degree of soiling of the laundry.
aFor a light to normal degree
of contamination, a small amount
of detergent is sufficient. Follow the
dosage advice of the detergent
manufacturer.
