♦ Push the water tank 0 back into the base station q until it clicks into place.
♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "1" to switch the appliance on.
♦ Press the "Anti calc" button u. The "Anti calc" button u goes out.
You have now completed replacement of the limescale filter e.
NOTE
► After replacing the limescale filter e, it takes about 90 seconds until steam
starts coming out of the sole of the iron 6 again the next time you use the
appliance.
NOTES
Note the following when handling the limescale filter e:
Not suitable for consumption/drinking!
Keep the limescale filter e out of the reach of children.
Store the spare limescale filter in a cool, dry location.
If the appliance is used regularly, it is advisable to always have a replacement
limescale filter available. This means that you can replace the limescale filter
e immediately as soon as the "Anti calc" button u lights up.
You can order new limescale filters e from our service department (see
section Ordering replacement parts).
Cleaning the appliance
♦ Remove the power plug from the mains power socket if the appliance is
plugged in.
♦ If necessary, allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the iron and the base station q with a soft, damp
cloth only.
♦ Clean the sole of the iron 6 with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure that the sole of
the iron 6 is not scratched.
♦ Pour out the residual water in the water tank 0:
– Pull the water tank 0 out of the base station q and tip the remaining
water into the wash basin.
– Push the water tank 0 back into the base station q until it clicks into
place.
♦ The appliance must be completely dry before further use.
