7. Using the mixing
tools
Lifting up the drive arm
1. Press the unlock button11 and fold up
the drive arm19 until it engages and
the unlock button11 pops out again.
Inserting the mixing bowl
2. Put the mixing bowl16 into the base
unit17.
3. Lock the mixing bowl16 by turning it
towards the closed lock symbol until it is
firmly seated.
Mounting the splash guard
CAUTION:
~ Never use the mixing bowl16 without
the splash guard18 attached. The ma-
terial you are mixing could otherwise
be ejected.
4. Place the splash guard18 onto the
drive arm19 from below. The arrow
(S) on the splash guard18 and the ar-
row (T) on the drive arm19 point to
one another.
5. Rotate the splash guard18 in the direc-
tion of the closed lock symbol until it
clicks into place.
Inserting the mixing tool
6. Select the appropriate mixing tool:
- Dough hook22: for heavy doughs,
e.g. bread dough
-Whisk21: for whipping cream, egg
white etc.
- Beater20: for light dough or batter,
e.g. cake mix or pancake batter.
