Automatic switch-off (Sleep function)
You can use the sleep function to automatically switch the device off after
10–120 minutes.
♦ During ongoing operation, go to the System menu and press the TUNE+
8
or TUNE−7 button (several times if necessary) or turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 until Sleep appears on the display 1.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button several times or turn the
VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN dial6 to select the switch-off time
(Off, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes).
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
After exiting the system menu, S appears on the right of the display 1
followed by the remaining minutes or seconds.
♦ After the set time, the device will switch itself off automatically.
♦ To disable the Sleep function, select the setting Off as described above and
press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial 6 to confirm the selection.
Alarm
The device has two alarm functions, Alarm 1 and Alarm 2, both of which can
be programmed to play the last radio station you listened to or a certain preset
(DAB+ or FM) or to play an alarm at a specific time on certain days.
Setting the alarm
♦ While in the System menu, press the TUNE+8 or TUNE−7 button
(several times if necessary) or turn the VOLUME | ENTER / SCAN
dial6 until Alarm appears on the display 1.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button or turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 to select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
The display 1 shows the message Alarm (1/2) Setup.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the selection.
The display 1 shows the message Alarm (1/2) On time and the hour
display flashes.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button or turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 to set the hours.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the entry.
The minutes flash on the display1.
♦ Press the TUNE+
8 or TUNE−7 button or turn the VOLUME |
ENTER / SCAN dial6 to set the minutes.
♦ Press the VOLUME |
ENTER/SCAN dial6 to confirm the entry.
The display1 shows the message Alarm (1/2) Duration and the minute
display flashes.
