Cleaning
CAUTION
Damage to the device!
► To avoid irreparable damage to the device, ensure that no
moisture gets into it during cleaning.
■ Clean the surfaces of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Use a nor-
mal commercial detergent and water to remove stubborn residue.
Ensure that no water gets into the device.
■ Always keep the seal between the camera housing and the tree
bracket clean so that no moisture gets into the device and dam-
ages it. Contamination of the seal can impair the dust and water
spray protection (IP54).
■ Always keep the seal that protects the DC connection socket

clean.
■ Clean the seal regularly with a small amount of Vaseline to keep
it malleable. This is the only way to ensure that the interior of the
device is adequately protected from moisture.
■ If you need to replace the seal, contact customer service (see the
Service chapter).
