  If your Simoniz Pressure Washer motor won't start, first ensure the On/Off switch is in the “ON” ( | ) position. Check that the power cord is properly plugged in. If you're using an extension cord, make sure it's either a 25’ (7.6 m) 14/3 gauge cord or a 50’ (15 m) 14/3 gauge cord. Try a different electrical outlet to rule out power issues. Finally, if the pressure washer circuit breaker has tripped, allow the unit to cool before restarting it.

  If your Simoniz Pressure Washer motor buzzes but fails to run, first, verify that the pressure washer is the only appliance running on its circuit to ensure adequate supply voltage. If there's residual pressure, turn the unit “OFF”, squeeze the trigger on the spray wand to release the pressure, and then turn the unit “ON.” Unplug any extension cords and plug the unit directly into the outlet to eliminate voltage loss. If the pressure washer hasn't been used for a long period, call the Toll-Free Hotline. In case of residual friction among components try disconnecting the water supply and powering the unit ON for 2 to 3 seconds, repeating a couple of times until the motor starts.
